We here at Anime Jam Session are sad to announce the recent passing of voice actress Cassandra Hodges. She was only 28.

Fellow voice actor Christopher Ayres confirmed this via his Facebook account on June 30th. Though an autopsy has been performed, the circumstances of her death have yet to be ascertained. She was slated to appear at Anime Festival Wichita on July 8-10 in Wichita, Kansas, which will now be dedicated to her memory. A fundraiser has been set up to collect funds for a memorial to her.

Her voice acting credits include Camembert in Glass Fleet, Gotanda and Yuku in Hell Girl, as well as numerous FUNimation titles such as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Mushishi, and Axis Powers Hetalia.
