Anime NYC 2021: The Best of an Interesting Time

I was thrilled to get the opportunity to cover AnimeNYC. The convention has grown rapidly over the course of its short run. It’s hard to believe that the event is just in its third year.  AnimeNYC began with about 20,000 attendees in 2017. According to the convention.  53,000 attendees participated in 2021’s event. According to AnimeNYC, about 40,000 people attended in 2019—twice the amount of people who attended back in 2017 The con has grown exponentially, with no signs of stopping anytime soon.
